Melbourne's favourite and most historical Tea Room, Hopetoun Tea Rooms is moving to the corner of Bourke and McKillop Streets in Melbourne's CBD | Map.
From the 1880s, the heritage-listed 161-year-old building was the Commercial Bank of Australia but best known as jeweller Kozminsky for four decades.
The iconic Hopetoun Tea Rooms, under new ownership together with the long-serving operations team consisting of original savoury and pastry chefs, as well as the core management team.
Traditional Tea
The Tea Rooms 1892 is the new business located in the Block Arcade where the Hopetoun Tea Rooms operated between 1892 and 2020.

MELBOURNE'S historic Hopetoun Tearooms would be given a fresh lease of life under new plans being considered by the city council.
Melbourne's most beloved tea rooms to reopen in Bourke Street - Summer 2023
When the tea rooms reopen, the building will house a ground-floor dining room, afternoon tea service on level one, and on the top floor, a function space for bridal parties, baby showers and so on.

October 2024 - Unfortunately, due to setbacks out of our control we have indeed had to put our opening back again we aim to open late 2024, we have no set date as of yet but as soon as we do, we will be telling everyone!
