Melbourne Filmoteca

Founded in 1999, Melbourne Filmoteca is a independent, non-profit, volunteer-run group which aims to provide a space for people with a broad range of interests and backgrounds to learn about, and appreciate, not only film and video from the regions, but also the language, music and cultures of Spain, Portugal and Latin America.

Melbourne Filmoteca holds monthly screenings of Latin American, Spanish and Portuguese film and video at ACMI cinemas, Australian Centre for the Moving Image in Federation Square, Flinders Street in Melbourne, Australia.

Sessions start at 7:30pm and screen monthly on the FIRST TUESDAY of the month. Screenings are held in the cinemas at ACMI, Australian Centre for the Moving Image, located at Federation Square, Flinders Street, Melbourne.

Screenings may be subject to change, and all films feature English subtitles and are under Unclassified 18+ classification except where otherwise noted.
