Open at Jackalope Pavilion St Kilda, Wednesday to Sunday throughout Summer 2021

Rain Room is a 100 square metre expanse of torrential rainfall that responds to your presence and movement; protecting you from the rain as you navigate the space and allowing you to take centre stage in a mesmerising merging of art technology and nature.

Over 90000 visitors 'controlled the weather' last season making it Melbourne's most talked about - and Instagrammed - solo art exhibition of recent memory. Additionally over half a million patrons have experienced Rain Room worldwide at exhibitions in London New York Los Angeles Shanghai and beyond.

SESSION TIMES
Rain Room is open from Wednesday to Sunday.
10am - 9pm.

Sessions will run in 20-minute intervals.

HOW DO I GET THERE?
Jackalope Pavilion on top of the Prince Hotel in St Kilda.

The No. 16 Tram runs from the Melbourne's CBD to St Kilda with several stops located along Fitzroy Street. If driving parking is available at The Prince of Wales carpark and can be booked online at the time of ticket purchase. Limited street parking is also available along Acland and Fitzroy Streets.

ARRIVAL INFORMATION
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your reservation to ensure you have adequate time to park and store your belongings in provided lockers etc. prior to your session commencing.

Should you miss your scheduled time we will endeavour to accommodate you if a subsequent spot is available. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a rescheduled visit. Please note that there are no refunds.

To reduce the possibility of getting wet visitors are advised to progress slowly and sensibly through the Rain Room. Should you move too quickly you may catch the drops of rain that have already fallen ahead of you.

WHAT TO WEAR
Visitors are discouraged from wearing dark shiny or reflective fabric.

Flat-soled shoes must always be worn. Please note that high-heeled shoes are not allowed.

You won't need an umbrella!

ACCESSIBILITY AND ELIGIBILITY
It is suitable for everyone.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult and advised not to run or play.

Rain Room is a wheelchair friendly exhibition.
