1001 Steps in Bayview Park - Narre Warren North
Although not officially completed, the 1001 Steps at Bayview Park in Narre Warren North is already a success. Everyday people seeking exercise and fresh air are parking near the unopened car park and making the walk up and down approximately 800 stairs. (Presumably about another 200 steps are still to be built!)
At its highest point the hill has an elevation of 165 metres. Views extend towards Western Port Bay to the South East and the You Yangs to the South West. The city can also be seen and if you are lucky you may even see a small section of the bay shimmering in the sunshine.

Bayview Park's new 1001 Steps fitness track
A new fitness track in Narre Warren North will go one better than Upper Ferntree Gully's hugely popular 1000 steps.
The official unveiling of Bayview Park's 1001 steps in Quarry Rd is planned for July 2019.
Climbers can take in views of Casey, Western Port and Port Phillip Bay.
The former Narre Warren tip was transformed into the landscaped track after Casey councillor Rosalie Crestani launched the project three years ago.
