acre farm & eatery at Burwood Brickworks is one of the largest urban agricultural projects in Australia, led by the farm food team from acre.

Situated on the former Burwood Brickworks site, the impressive restaurant is surrounded by sprawling gardens and a caf© set within the large high-intensity glasshouse - all set on 2500sqm of productive urban agricultural space punctuated by a quail coop, worm farms, a weddings and events space, tours, workshops, cooking classes, community volunteer opportunities and more.

Our signature acre farmhouse restaurant provides a destination farm-to-table dining experience for visitors. Taking in views of our urban farm, it features our unique farm food menu utilising seasonal ingredients grown onsite.

glasshouse caf©
Our casual all-day caf©, adjoining the abundant glasshouse growing space, features fresh, healthy and sustainable sustenance, great coffee, eat-in and to-go items, cakes, sandwiches and more, utilising seasonal ingredients grown on our farm. Dispersed through the caf© are hanging plants and pots, and louvres to keep our plants and guests happy. Visitors can eat-in the glasshouse caf©, walk around the rooftop with food and drinks or take something home for later.

Downstairs will offer grab-and-go bites, delicious sandwiches and cakes made instore, coffee, gardening provisions and much more.

There is underground parking available as part of the Brickworks centre. Head up the travelator and elevator, or take the stairs.

We love four-legged friends! They can join you for a stroll around the farm (on a leash please), but unfortunately not indoors. Both our farmhouse restaurant and glasshouse caf© offer outdoor seating for you to enjoy a bite with your pooch.
