Brighton's new contemporary Italian restaurant Aromi is an experience for all the senses.
An Italian spot in Brighton with two Bar Carolina chefs, margherita cocktails and salted caramel mini 'Magnums'.
The newly opened Aromi is a restaurant you'll want to leave your neighbourhood for -unless you're lucky enough to live in Brighton, that is. Then, we're sure, you're about to start throwing around 'ciao bellos' with owners Paolo Masciopinto and Salvatore Montella on a regular basis.. concreteplayground.com

The modern, white interior features a fragrant vertical herb garden, with a luxurious sculptural black granite table taking centre place. The name itself, Aromi, shows the deep connection to Italy's famous food culture based on aromatics with each region emphasising different herbs to enrich their local dishes.
Chefs, business partners and friends Paolo Maciopinto and Salvatore Montella have created a farm to table menu, using the 'best-of-market' offers from their producers and creating classic dishes with a contemporary twist. Think scallops with potato and truffle, pumpkin tortelli with amaretti, ricotta and fruit mustard, or the fritto misto seafood platter.
The bread is made in-house, as is the pasta, gnocchi, and many of the liqueurs. But you can't leave without trying their insanely rich Chestnut Monte Bianco, Paulo's contemporary take on Italian's favourite 'king of desserts'.
Like a true Italian restaurant, the highest importance is placed on the heart of Italian cooking - family and conviviality. Whether you're after a glass of wine and a comforting bowl of pasta or planning a catch up over a group dinner, Aromi welcomes all.
