Avalon Centre

Avalon Centre

The Avalon Centre was founded in 1987 with a focus on meeting unmet needs.

Avalon is run entirely by Volunteers and survives solely on tax deductible donations and grants. Avalon's aim is to help people who have slipped through the cracks, including the homeless, people with mental health problems, disabilities and/or drug and alcohol addiction, the elderly, refugees and anyone who requires support.

Avalon reaches out into the community to meet unmet needs. Put simply, Avalon assists those who have been forgotten, overlooked and left behind.

Services offered at Avalon include: The weekly Drop-In and Day with Avalon trips; The Homeless and Clothes Distribution Programme; Saturday Getaway Programme; Avalon also offers individual support.

Avalon's mission Statement is, to help when it can, where it can and in whatever way it can.
