Blazing Stump Hotel |
A true icon of the north east region of Victoria. It's truly great history and enchanting characters hold a wonderful place in the Wodonga region.
Founded by a widowed Scottish settler in 1880 - Margaret Armstrong, the hotel was built to service locals, travelers and gold fossickers.
In 1929 local sheep shearer Jack Perry purchased the hotel and started an unprecedented 80 year family run hotel. The hotel has seen three generations of the Perry family until it was sold in 2008.
The hotel has seen many renovations and updates over the years and boasts a wonderful atmosphere, friendly faces and a great range of facilities.
To all those that visit, "It's more that just a pub"
