The Bowery Theatre recognises the late Leigh Bowery who was born and raised in the West and went on to become one of the most influential international arts figures of the 80s and 90s.
STACC
STACC is home to a range of community spaces ideal for functions, events, performances, meetings, training, rehearsals and more. Our facilities include a kiosk/caf©, exhibition space, performance stair, dance studio, art & craft studio, rehearsal room, meeting rooms and flexible spaces with kitchens.
You can hire large spaces for a once-off function or event, or smaller spaces as a casual or regular hire.
THE BOWERY
The Bowery Theatre can be hired for one-off or regular events. The theatre has a seating capacity of 202 and is designed in black box style. Box Office, Front of House and technical support is available.

STACC is located on Princess Street in St Albans - in the heart of Melbourne's West - just 15kms from Melbourne CBD and 11kms from Tullamarine Airport.
Easily accessible by public transport, the Centre is adjacent to St Albans Train Station and served by bus routes 408, 418 Main Road East, Stop Errington Reserve, walk past playground to venue
Parking is limited; please allow plenty of time to find a park near the venue.
ACCESS
The STACC has facilities to enable use by all the community and people of all abilities. Drop off zone, Ramps, Wide Doors, Removable Theatre Seats, and Hearing Assistance are just some of the features. If you require seating to suit Wheelchairs then please ensure you let the Box Office know when booking.
