The open-plan studios are different from most other shared spaces in Melbourne and some of the seven artists in the show have made works suggesting the hopeful, often tentative, nature of co-operative endeavours: Benjamin Woods, for example, is building a giant noticeboard.
For his part, Fidock, who has an interest in obscure Australian cultural histories, is exhibiting an eccentric sculpture made of tiles held together with a "superfood grout"of "freeze-dried Australia berries, Bolivian quinoa and Iranian berberis and Australian bee pollen and stuff".
