Buluk Park |
Buluk Park, Victoria Harbour is a significant new urban square for the city of Melbourne.
Bourke and Collins streets
The square is the new community and retail hub of the Docklands, a place that connects the community and visitors with the Yarra River, Victoria Harbour, City Library and community centre and public transport.
The square positions itself as part of Melbourne's urban language while creating a new distinctive place that links history the place with its new community. The central lawn is edge by large decks and trees, in which urban activities will occur, such as play, gathering, markets and events.

playground
A lovely playground located next to the Docklands library which is part playground and part art installation. At the front of the playground are two huge wonderful metal trees with a range of metal cut-outs on the branches such as cobwebs and crows. What can you find?
This leads to a play area with cubbies made from boxes with climbing ramps, climbing nets, traverses, multiple levels, ladders, tunnels and a big metal slide.
In the middle is a water play area with concrete troughs and six water sources which all combine into a central drainage area.
There is also an area with nine metal tiles which you can step on and make music from the bell sounds. A grassy area to play, plenty of shaded and unshaded seats, some tables and a water tap. Your chance to explore the Docklands and maybe read and play. There is paid parking in the area from Monday to Saturday.
