Carlton Wine Room occupies a treasured corner in old Carlton. Distinct dining spaces over three levels are linked by a common offering: solid informed service and good times. Come in for honest, generous dishes, perfect for sharing or keeping all to yourself.
Andy and Trav head up a team with several hundred (dog) years of hospitality between them. They prefer to let their work do the talking, with the return of satisfied customers the only review that really matters. They'll give you the best of what they know, straight talk your choices and hope to welcome you back time and again.

Food
A menu thaty is seasonally driven and focused on fresh local ingredients. Each dish is an expression of texture and flavour that is both surprising and satisfying; your attention is drawn to the ingredients, not to the technique used to make them.
Wine & Beverages
The focus is on Italian grape varietals, both imported and local. There are iconic Australian vintages as well as boutique producers, with a monthly rotation of wines-by-the-glass.
Private Dining & Functions
There are three areas available for private functions: the Mezzanine, the Cellar dining room and the Tower Rooms. Each room is a distinct space that will suit different occasions, whether it be for an exclusive or private occasion or for a larger, extended celebration. When choosing to entertain at the Carlton Wine Room, you're welcome to choose from our a la carte menu, or enjoy one of our set menus. For an extra special occasion, hire out the whole venue!
