CERES Community Environment Park is an award winning, not-for-profit, sustainability centre located on 4.5 hectares on the Merri Creek in East Brunswick, Melbourne.

A thriving, vibrant community, CERES supports over 400,000 visitors each year and influences thousands through its innovative programs taking sustainable education directly to schools across the State.

CERES is a place for community-based learning and action to create environmentally beneficial, socially just, economically satisfying, culturally enriching and spiritually nurturing ways of living together.

We are a not-for-loss community business. We run extensive environmental education programs, urban agriculture projects, green technology demonstrations and a number of social enterprises including a grocery, cafe, community kitchen, organic online supermarket and a permaculture and bushfood nursery.

There is an impressive diversity of projects on the 4.5 hectare site, including:
- Organic cafe (open 7 days a week)
- Grocery (open 7 days a week)
- Permaculture and Bushfood Nursery
- Organic Farm and chooks
- Community gardens
- Green technology demonstrations
- Eco House
- Multicultural village

Education is at the core of CERES. We are one of the largest sustainability education providers in Victoria delivering environmental based programs including workshops, courses and accredited training to over 70,000 students each year.

Each year CERES hosts a number of community events and festivals including the CERES Harvest Festival and Winter Solstice Festival.
