The quality of the dining experience is the motto at Chez Olivier. Le Bistro was the first installment of this Frenchy chic restaurant in Prahran's funky Greville Street. Not long after was L'epicerie, the second addition to the Chez Olivier family.
The focus comes from the quality of the following people: Jacky Frenot (aka Monsieur Jacky) is the head of the kitchen. This man has spent more years Down Under than in his original Normandie.
Florian Daniel (aka Monsieur Flo Jo) is the fastest on the floor and will run everywhere to make sure that everyone is happy. He is the host from Britanny at Le Bistro, supervising is team of Frenchies, making sure that everything runs as smoothly as possible.
Olivier Normandin (aka Monsieur Zolive) the one who claims Le Bistro and L'epicerie to be his. Originally from Bordeaux, he wants to call Australia home so much that he put his name on the door of two of the Chez Olivier establishments in Melbourne.
Chez Olivier is a reflection of Olivier's love for genuine, authentic, traditional and generous French food accompanied by some excellent wines both from his old and new countries. The staff believe that there are foodies out there like them who want a genuine and generous experience combining high quality and relaxed atmosphere, and their aim is to fulfill this experience.
During the month of November, let Olivier and his staff treat you to something out of this world for lunch and dinner..
