City of Casey

The City of Casey is a local council in the south east of Melbourne, Australia.

Some of the City of Casey's great achievements have included hosting the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games torch relay, opening of the Casey ARC (Aquatic and Recreation Centre) in 2001, winning the national title for the Innovation in Local Government Awards in 2001, and officially becoming Victoria's largest municipality when the population reached 203,636, passing the City of Greater Geelong's population in 2003.
