Cockatoo Rise Museum |
Cockatoo Rise museum is a collection of war militaria from WW1 till present day conflicts in Iraq and Afghanastan.
Visitors will have the opportunity to try on webbing as used in the field today by our defence personal and see a large collection of uniforms from many different countries.
The museum is part of a retreat for war veterans and their partners providing a place of respite and rehabilitation for those in need.
The museum is located in Cockatoo Rise Retreat in Sarsfield situated 5.75 klms from Bairnsdale in the Gippsland Lakes area, Victoria.
