Discovery is a not-for-profit, community-based organisation that is open daily. Discovery is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and during the month of February. On Australia Day Discovery closes and re-locates to Lake Weeroona.

Travelling by public transport
Discovery sits right opposite Bendigo Train Station and the bus depot, making it quick and easy to reach by public transport for all visitors.

Travelling by car
Estimated travelling time from Melbourne to Bendigo is 90 minutes and via the Calder Freeway (M79).

Car parking
Bendigo Marketplace carpark via Mitchell Street, Edward Street and Arthur Street and has over 1,200 free car park spaces including disabled car park and parents with prams parking spaces.

Bus parking
Bus parking is available alongside the Marketplace loading bay, enter via Arthur Street. There is additional bus parking behind the Marketplace.
