Doncaster Playhouse is a welcoming, comfortable and relaxed small studio theatre.
The Playhouse is a great venue to experience one of the many concerts or theatre shows presented by Council for the community.
You can also enjoy a show with one of several local theatre companies that call the Playhouse home, including Phoenix and Sherbrooke Theatre Companies.
Located in one of Manningham's historic landmarks, the Playhouse building was constructed in 1863 as the area's first primary school, then refurbished in 1988 as a community theatre.
The Playhouse is also available for hire for arts presentations, at affordable rates.
