The Alfred Fathers Day Appeal is about raising awareness of mens health in the community. Mens health is important to The Alfred - a majority of the hospitals admissions are males.
This year the Fathers Day Appeal focuses on upgrading The Alfreds general surgery ward where men of all ages are treated for a range of diverse and often complex conditions like bowel, liver and bladder cancers, as well as prostate cancer and other urological disorders and diseases.
