Alex Makes Meals: Feast to Feed 2026

STAR-STUDDED CHEF LINE UP CURATING THIS YEAR'S FEAST TO FEED FOR FOOD RELIEF

Join 400 of Melbourne's most passionate changemakers for an unforgettable evening that transforms fine dining into community impact.

With an impressive culinary crew curating a five-course extravaganza, this year's Feast to Feed event is promising to be another incredible night.

Building on the success of previous events in 2023 and 2025, this year's gala dinner is taking place on Saturday 20th June under the iconic stained-glass ceiling of Melbourne's NGV.

As always, this annual event is driven by the mission to tackle societal food security, one healthy and nutritious meal at a time.

This year's impressive culinary curatorial lineup includes:

-:- Matt Preston - Award winning food journalist, and best-selling cookbook author;
-:- Gary Mehigan - Chef, restaurateur, author and TV personality;
-:- Emilia Jackson - MasterChef alumni, successful cookbook author and pastry whiz;
-:- Nat Thaipun - MasterChef winner in 2024, food consultant and Thai cuisine queen;
-:- Andrea Vignali - Co-owner of Al Dente restaurant and handmade pasta pro; and
-:- MC Sofia Levin - food journalist turned MasterChef judge

Each chef is designing a signature dish, matched with top-shelf wines from Yarra Yering, Rob Dolan Wines and TarraWarra, among others. Donating their time and expertise, chefs will be roaming the room, encouraging Melburnians to dig deep for this incredible cause.

Alex Makes Meals

Organised by food charity Alex Makes Meals, this event is the cornerstone of the organisation's calendar, with a mission to raise at least $150,000 this year (an advance on the $130,000 raised in 2025), to continue their vital work feeding Melbourne's most vulnerable.

This year's event is sponsored by the One Light Many Hearts Foundation, their inaugural sponsorship undertaking.

All proceeds from the event go to supporting the charity's kitchen operations, distributing fresh, healthy and nutritious meals via their 50+ partner charities.

Producing over 4,100 meals per week, Alex Makes Meals has grown from its humble beginnings during COVID, to become a vital player in the city's food relief ecosystem.

Tickets to the event are $275 per head. Each ticket sold feeds 250 people, which is an incredible contribution to those in need.

There will be both live and silent auctions, run with an incredible array of high-end prizes and experiences to be had.
