The FINAL was won by AUSTRALIA at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Sunday 29th March 2015.
Australia played New Zealand in front of a record crowd for a cricket game of 93,013.

The tournament's 42 pre-finals matches will be spread evenly across 14 venues seven for both Australia and co-host New Zealand .
Organisers have dictated that every team will play at least one match in each country. That will include NZ hosting its group match against Australia at Auckland's Eden Park on February 28.
For Australia to reach the finals which it failed to do the last time it jointly hosted the event in 1992 it must qualify from its seven-team group. Alongside Australia in pool A are England Sri Lanka Bangladesh NZ and two nations that have yet to qualify. Pool B contains South Africa India Pakistan West Indies Zimbabwe Ireland and the final qualifying team.
Each team plays the other six teams in its group with the top four reaching the quarter-finals .
Matches in Australia are being hosted in the six traditional Test host cities - Melbourne Sydney Brisbane Adelaide Perth Hobart - as well as Canberra. The latter however is the only city that will not host Australia at least once.
