Established in 1954 the Geelong Showgrounds is a regoinal multi-purpose community, recreational and event facility.

Located on an 35 acre site on Breakwater Road, the Showgrounds is home to the largest regional Royal Show in Australia.

The original showgrounds site was in East Geelong, second showgrounds in Ormond Road. In 1907 the showgrounds were moved to the new Geelong Racecourse. The Society was granted the title 'Royal' in July 2005. The Royal Geelong Agricultural & Pastoral Society is currently supported by a volunteer community base of 76 Councillors and over 100 Co-opted members.

A convenient few kilometres out of central Geelong with toilet facilities, power, undercover and outdoor areas from entertainment or trade shows.

The Geelong Showgrounds is the ideal venue for your next event.
