Grattan Gardens |
Grattan Gardens, near Prahran Market and the iconic Chapel Street.
Once a basic park between Greville Street and the Prahran Bowling Club, since 2001 it's been capped off at the northern end by Stonnington Council's Grattan Gardens Community Centre.
It has a wonderful grassed area surrounded by pathways and seating for a leisurely relax in the sun soaked area.

History
Prahran Council purchased land in Greville Street in 1864 to establish the Prahran Market. When this moved to its current position in Commercial Road in 1881, Council turned the space into Prahran Gardens, now known as Grattan Gardens.
