Herring Island | Punt Service 2025
Access to Herring Island Environmental Sculpture Park is accessible only by punt from Como Landing to Herring Island Jetty and Landing.
A punt service operates on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) plus public holidays from January to April.
From the first weekend of January until the Easter long weekend (Easter Monday included). --> Easter Monday 21st April 2025
The punt is FREE.
There is no set timetable: first trip leaves at 11am and the last at 5pm
The punt leaves from Como Landing (Melways ref Map 58 G2). Car parking is available in Alexandra Ave.
*On days of extreme or inclement weather conditions Parks Victoria may cancel the punt operation and stop access to Herring Island.
Private boats also have access to the island (Melway ref: 2M C2).
