I Love My Babycinos | Book Launch |
If your little one is a baby gourmand and loves cafe culture, then I LOVE MY BABYCINOS is a must for their book collection.
Research from Dairy Australia shows that only half of all Aussie kids aged 1-5 are having one serve of milk per day, which falls dramatically short of the recommended three serves of dairy.
If you're not quite sure what a babycino is, it's a small cup of warm, frothy milk topped with powdered chocolate especially prepared for toddlers and children.
With bright, funky illustrations and photography, I LOVE MY BABYCINOS by Melbourne author and mum Katrina Thomson conveys the message to 1-4-year-olds that drinking milk is really good for growing bones!
Katrina hit on the idea of writing a kids' book devoted to babycinos because her daughters Sienna and Amaya are such fans of the frothy milk drinks.
Katrina was shocked by the Dairy Australia statistics and being a regular on the cafe circuit with her daughters, wanted to show people all the great things about introducing kids to babycinos.
'A Babycino is the perfect way to give your child a serve of dairy and it's really fun too!,' says Katrina. 'Babycinos are becoming a modern rite of passage for Melbourne kids and their parents. You get the opportunity to soak up trendy cafe culture, help build strong bones and the kids think they are so grown up with their little 'cinos!'
