An old-fashioned traditional take-away with a touch of nostalgia in one of Melbourne's cool new suburbs, Northcote.

Entering the shop was a trip back in time with good take-away food, traditional favourites and heart-felt warm customer service where everyone was made feel welcome.

Along with the standard fare, there were some wonderful old favourites.

- Meatloaf sandwich
- Rissoles
- Pickled onions
- Hard boiled eggs
- Dixie Cups
- Eskimo pie

Forgotten something? Jim's was one of those shops that had everything. From pens to sugar, drinks, smokes, matches and everything else you ran out of.
