Kerrisdale Mountain Railway is a unique narrow gauge tourist railway with panoramic views, live steam museum, loco and workshop to tour.
The Kerrisdale Mountain Railway is a 2ft narrow gauge tourist railway with spectacular views of the Upper Goulburn Valley. To gain the maximum height within the shortest distance, steep grades and tight curves also abound, with panoramic views of (360 degrees) to take your breath away at Summit Station.
The railway and museum has been developed by a group of dedicated volunteers and is a not for profit incorporated body.
All proceeds are put back into the development and running of this facility.
The live steam museum is usually operational on Sunday and for pre-arranged large groups (minimum numbers apply).
'Bottom Points Kiosk' serves refreshments (tea/coffee with biscuits, cold drinks, icy poles, crisps, chocolate bars and souvenirs). No self-catering.
Sundays', 'Steamfests' and for pre-arranged large groups we do a 'sausage/drink/biscuits' package.

We are situated in the North East corner of the Tallarook Ranges, North Central Victoria.

Reaching the KMR by public transport is not easy (Vline train to Seymour Railway Station and then a taxi to the KMR)
Kerrisdale is 116km (1h.25m) drive from Melbourne on Citylink/M2, State Route 60 and State Route 50 in Between Seymour, Broadford and Yea.
