Kirks was founded in mid 1870s in the original Victorian era, then in the 1930s the deco facade was put into place, this is what we see now.
Kirks on the Esplanade is the pinnacle waterfront venue on the Mornington Peninsula. Offering breathtaking views of Port Phillip Bay, the Hotel showcases a blend of old world charm with contemporary style.
Open 7 days a week for lunch & dinner, the restaurant is also open for breakfast on Saturday & Sunday. The restaurant/bistro offers a wide variety of cuisine including fresh seafood, aged grain-fed steaks, wood fired pizza, pastas & risotto. We offer a broad seniors and children's menu, as well as many other dishes - both modern & traditional.
Our Club Bar is a home away from home for our locals. With the open fire place crackling in winter it's a cozy family atmosphere for young and old alike.
We have an upstairs function room for hire with breathtaking panoramic views overlooking Port Phillip Bay. We also offer cocktail functions for 50-100 people or sit down functions for 30-80 people. The function room is great for birthdays, weddings and engagement parties.
