Located in the Goulburn Valley of Northern Victoria and set amongst a wide variety of Australian flora, the Park covers some 55 hectares of open woodland, wetlands and lakes.
Kyabram Fauna Park is home to iconic Aussie animals including koalas, dingoes, kangaroos, wombats, wallabies, cassowary, echidna, emus, flying-foxes and quolls. Kangaroos, emus and wallabies are free-ranging.
Our reptile collection includes native snakes, crocodile, lizards and turtles.
We have a wide range of birdlife including cockatoos, parrots, waterfowl, cranes, bush stone-curlew and finches. Thirty-five species of birds have been identified at the Park. Bird lovers can enjoy a large walk-through aviary, wetland viewing hides and wetland observation tower.
Our invertebrate collection includes spiders, scorpions and stick insects.
With $3 million in funding support from the Victorian government, Zoos Victoria has announced that Kyabram Fauna Park has joined the family. The parkland and wetland spans 55 hectares, making it twice as large as Melbourne Zoo.
