Live at the Gardens is Melbourne's acclaimed open-air concert series, transforming the spectacular Observatory Precinct at the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne into one of Australia's most unique live music venues.

Presented through a collaboration between the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne and Roundhouse Entertainment - the experienced team behind the iconic A Day On The Green concert series - Live at the Gardens combines world-class artists with one of the city's most breathtaking outdoor settings.

Following a successful debut in 2024 and a string of sold-out seasons, the event has quickly established itself as one of Melbourne's premier summer music experiences, attracting acclaimed international artists alongside some of Australia's biggest names.

A World-Class Line-Up

Since its launch, Live at the Gardens has welcomed an outstanding lineup of performers including Franz Ferdinand, Groove Armada, Leftfield, Todd Terje, Marlon Williams, Roisin Murphy, Lake Street Dive, The Living End, The Presets, Cut Copy, Bliss n Eso, Thelma Plum, Chet Faker, Matt Corby, Tash Sultana, Xavier Rudd, Mark Seymour, The Cruel Sea, Sarah Blasko, Augie March, Vika & Linda and many more.

The 2026 season continues that tradition with another exceptional program of headline performances.

Acclaimed British rock band Wolf Alice return to Australia for a special one-night-only Melbourne performance on Saturday 5 December.

Australian favourites DMA'S will take to the stage on Saturday 28 November, showcasing songs from their forthcoming fifth studio album while also celebrating the 10th anniversary of their debut album Hills End.

American singer-songwriter Cat Power performs her landmark album The Greatest in full on Thursday 3 December, joined by special guests Courtney Marie Andrews and Hedge Burners.

Closing the series, Hoodoo Gurus celebrate their 45th anniversary on Sunday 6 December with their Rewind - All Killer, No Filler tour, joined by special guests RATCAT and The Stems.
