Lord Cardigan |
Lord Cardigan is fast becoming one of Melbourne's favourite Albert Park restaurants. Attention to detail and friendly atmosphere will make you feel at home and have you telling all your friends about Lord Cardigan.
Lord Cardigan lies in a charming crescent adjacent to Albert Park Village. The vaulted restaurant space is papered with embossed olive-green wallpaper highlighted by walnut furniture and straw coloured woven flooring; a massive parchment covered drum light fitting fills the room with a warm amber glow.
Lord Cardigan was established in 2007, by chef John Singer (who trained under Herman Schneider before running Harvey's and Hotel Spencer) and his wife Dominique Bolger.
Singer produces thoughtful and beautifully presented dishes of great flavour and character. The menu reflects his desire to create dishes that remain in the memory and linger on the taste buds.
