Mallacoota is Victoria's most easterly town in the East Gippsland not far from New South Wales border and the tip of Victoria.

Mallacoota is a small holiday and fishing town situated at the mouth of Mallacoota Inlet in the far eastern corner of Victoria.

Everyone is reminded the good people of Mallacoota suffered two tragedies in 2020. The horrific bushfires that decimated the town, destroyed many houses, properties and livelihoods. Then along came Covid!

Croajingolong National Park
Stretching along the coast in far East Gippsland, the Croajingolong National Park is an unspoilt wilderness of remote beaches, forests and mountains. Its landscapes and ecosystems are so valuable that it has been classified as a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. The 100 kilometre Wilderness Coast Walk explores the best of the park, from isolated stretches of coastline, to wide open beaches and small coves with rocky headlands.Gabo Island

Gabo Island
Gabo Island is situated 13 kilometres from Mallacoota and 500 metres off the wilderness coast of Croajingolong National Park. The island supports colonies of seabirds and penguins, and features a pink granite lighthouse which was completed in 1862.
