Mayer Park is on the corner Leinster Grove and Normanby Avenue, Thornbury

Friends of Mayer Park formed as a response to the Darebin City Council's proposal to build a sports stadium on the park grounds. After the park was saved from development, the community were inspired by the spirit of all the users of the park and we are committed to making the space an enjoyable location for all.

Pets Allowed:Yes (dogs and cats permitted off leads).
Shelter & Seating:Some established trees provide some shade around the edge of reserve. Plenty of bench seats are scattered around the reserve (no direct access to seats from paths).
Toilets:Toilets available during scheduled games.
Entry:Accessible crossovers on the corner of Normanby Rd and Leinster Gve with pedestrian lights. Accessible paths along Normanby Rd and Leinster Gve to entry points.
