McCrae Homestead | Open
Open Sundays, 11am- 4pm, last entry is at 3.30pm
What was life like for people during the early years of Victoria? How did they live? What were their homes like? What did they do to entertain themselves in their leisure time? Two families lived at McCrae Homestead: the McCraes, the original owners, and the Burrells, who lived here from 1851 to 1925.
Visit McCrae Homestead, and see what a house from that era looked like. Admire Georgiana's sketches in the gallery next door, and see personal items such as jewellery, hairbrushes, sewing kits, pistols, and microscopes.
