To promote the Melbourne Society of Model and Experimental Engineers as well as to say a little about the hobby of model engineering.

The society was formed in 1926 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, and became an incorporated association in 1978.

It seeks to promote the hobby of model engineering in all its facets.

The Melbourne Society of Model & Experimental Engineers (M.S.M.E.E.) meets at the A.M.R.A. Hall, 92 Wills Street, Glen Iris, Melbourne (Melway ref. 59-J8), every second Friday in the month. Meetings start at 8.00 p.m. Visitors are welcome to come along.

Every second year, around the first weekend of October, the Melbourne Society of Model & Experimental Engineers holds a Model Engineering Exhibition.
