The Frankston Arts Centre is a unique premier arts and performance venue, providing the ultimate cultural experience for visitors wishing to enjoy memorable theatre performances, live music, engaging community programs, exhibitions, creative new media experiences and much more.

Established in 1995, the FAC is one of the largest outer metropolitan arts venues in Australia incorporating an 800 seat theatre, 2 exhibition gallery spaces, a function centre, a 194 seat black box theatre and creative arts hub.

The Centre attracts icons of Australian performance including Melbourne Symphony, OzOpera and the Australian Ballet amongst others. Our Theatre capacity and premium facilities also attract large and touring international artists and performers.

Performance Spaces - There are three Spaces at FAC in which to present performances, Theatre, Cube 37 and Function Centre

Theatre


The Main Theatre is a Proscenium Arch venue with a large 15m x 13m stage area and seating capacity of 800 offering great value for investment. The auditorium consists of Stalls and Dress Circle, providing an intimate experience for all patrons. Technical equipment includes a first class sound system, full conventional lighting facilities and manually operated counterweight fly system consisting of 60 lines. A motorised pit reduces setup and pack down time for events requiring this format.

Cube 37


A contemporary venue with seating for up to 194. Cube 37 provides an intimate atmosphere for both artist and audience.

Catering to your diverse requirements, Cube 37 can be set with tiered seating, capacity 194, for performance or transformed into a venue for cabaret, dance, exhibition, installation and more.

The venue is fitted with professional lighting and audio systems to assist with your event or performance and there is a sprung floor for theatre and dance performances.

Function Centre


A terrific alternative as a performance space allowing a variety options such as theatre or cabaret style shows.

Frankston Arts Centre is situate on the corner of Davey & Young Streets, Frankston. Melways Map 100A D8

Parking is conveniently available under the Centre with entry from Young Street.

Frankston Arts Centre is a comfortable one hour drive from Melbourne and is located 500 metres south of Frankston's Central Activities District.
