The Hightail Ale is a traditional English style 'real ale'. It's deep amber in colour with a rich malt body and floral hop aroma. Alcohol content comes in at 4.5% (1.2 standard drinks per bottle). We handcraft our ales with the utmost care and avoid all preservatives, additives and pasteurisation.

The second beer released from Mountain Goat's Richmond microbrewery is an Australian style, full strength Pale Ale.
It has golden-straw colourings, floral honey aromas and spicy hop bitterness. An imported American Ale yeast imparts a soft, dry fruitiness. Unlike the Hightail Ale, this beer is best enjoyed ice cold.
Drink the Pale with spicy dishes, they release the grassy hop characters and highlight the clean malt finish.
