National Celtic Festival 2026

Join us for the monumental 21st anniversary of the National Celtic Folk Festival in Portarlington!

This year promises to be bigger and better than ever before, with decades of tradition, culture, and community celebration.

Portarlington will fire up again with this festive winter party along the foreshore and throughout the town. We are gathering the best Folk and Celtic artists and performers celebrating with a sensational line up and plenty of craic' we are so pleased to be back.

There will be no shortage of live music bars markets workshops sessions delicious food dances writers children's entertainment demonstrations and special events - get ready for four days of music arts and culture fun for everyone!

Enjoy the performances or be a part of the festivities by joining in one of the many workshops on offer anything from limerick writing to bagpipe playing !
