Old Man Drew brings a slice of elegance and old-world charm to the streets of Ascot Vale, Melbourne.
Located within a 1868 heritage building, this show-stopping venue combines fabulous food, a vintage bluestone wine cellar, stunning garden and elegant tea rooms perfect for functions, casual catch-ups, and special celebrations.
Our Story
Creating this space has been a labour of love. Both challenging and rewarding, we have taken a building that has stood since 1868 and given it a new lease on life, without destroying its innate beauty.
This building has been many things. It started life as Twinem's grocery store in the 1860's. Later, the site became Pittorino's Wine Bar and then Penfolds Wines after that. The building then became a hardware store and then Vic Drew Used Trucks.
Today the building is a caf© and fine food merchant.
