Melbourne University, the Open Stage hosts theatre productions and shows.
'the open stage' theatre complex is a flexible performance venue, and associated spaces, that is managed by Learning Environments, as a specialised learning space for the University community. This valuable campus resource is available for:
Performance-based teaching (including programs associated with the Faculty of the VCA and Music, Theatre Education, Arts and Cultural Management, English and Theatre Studies, Cinema and Cultural Studies).
Special University events (such as short courses, boutique conferences, academic symposia, media launches, panel discussions, public lectures).
Student theatre productions and cultural performances on campus (organised by student theatre groups that are officially affiliated with the University of Melbourne Student Association or the University of Melbourne Graduate Student Association).
