We aim to engage the public, artists and collectors in emerging cultural technologies, immersive experiences and the ever-changing space that is blockchain.
Curious minds
After five years of on-the-ground market research we know the local and global cryptoart community is in need for a place to call home, not just a pop-up one day event. We're passionate about the community and want to see the whole Blockchain, Crypto and NFT space thrive.
With 18.4% of Australians owning some form of crypto currency and NFT ownership in Australia expected to reach 11.7% in 2022, the NFT market is growing rapidly. No dedicated NFT gallery with an online companion platform exists in Australia, and Melbourne is the natural art capital of Australia.
The Journey
Collingwood is an integral part of Melbourne's art and cultural scene. It's been the home of several galleries that form the historical backbone of Oshi.
From these key spaces we have run exhibitions and events around Australia, including NFT meet ups since 2018.
Perfectly placed in Smith Street, "The Coolest Street in the World" 2021, Oshi is at the forefront of real world cryptoart in Australia.
