Picnics at Hanging Rock

The novel by Australian author Joan Lindsay and the film adaptation directed by Peter Weir imply that it was based on a true story; sorry to burst the bubble but the story is entirely fictional. That does not stop thousands who visit the site every year. Hanging Rock is a geological feature near Mt Macedon, just outside Melbourne. Fancy a Picnic at Hanging Rock?
