Platform One is indisputably one of Melbourne's most unique premier events venue.
Since its opening in 2002 Platform One has played host to major bands, club nights and corporate events, while maintaining a unpretentious profile as a venue known only by those in the know.
Located behind Flinders St Station, on the Yarra River, the venue resides in the historic Banana Alley vaults. Platform One is comprised of two long, domed tunnels which stretch over 65 metres from Flinders St to the river.
The venue is divided into 3 rooms, accommodating over 680 guests, as well as an outdoor smoking area facing the Yarra. With a jetty only metres from the rear exit the venue also offers the ability to incorporate river boats into your events.
From its first class sound system, inspiring interior decore, friendly staff and truly unique attributes there is little wonder Platform One remains one of Melbourne's most sought after spaces.
