Where our community and all our visitors are always stronger together. Whether you are looking for country casual or a catered experience, there are packages to suit everybody!
Shuttle Bus Service - Departs Woodend Station from 10.45am to 1.15pm and return service departs the racecourse from 4pm.
Chairs & Tables - Patrons are permitted to bring there own tables and chairs into the racecourse. However, no shade structures - marquees, shelters or umbrellas.
We will have a number of food trucks on site. Patrons are permitted to BYO their own food; just no sharp objects or glass containers/jars in their picnics.
Hanging Rock is a no BYO alcohol venue. Patrons may bring water and soft drink in plastic containers.

Kms from Melbourne
70kms (approx. 1 hour travel time)
By Car from Melbourne
Take the Calder Freeway to Woodend, and then following the signs to Hanging Rock. Or take the Tullamarine Freeway to Romsey and turn left into Woodend Road.
By Train
From Southern Cross, take the train to Woodend Station and take the bus to the racecourse. Shuttle bus cost $5 return trip. Please refer to individual event days to see a copy of the Shuttle bus timetable.
