Regional Farmers Markets - Not Operating |
We do not know whats happened to Regional Farmers Markets (December 2022).
There website is gone, they do not respond to phone calls or social media.
Peter seemed a nice guy but the team struggled even before covid (see review below).
When they were up and running..
Regional Farmers Markets manages regional and metropolitan markets around Victoria.
The purpose of a Regional Farmers Market is to reconnect shoppers to the people who produce their food for their mutual benefit and enjoyment.
Consumers have become more discerning about the quality of the food they place on their tables, Farmers Markets are providing an opportunity for you to talk with producers and learn more about the various products, nutrients, uses and innovative recipes etc.... on offer at farmers markets.
Regional Farmers Markets sell fresh produce and food in a variety of locales.
Review
The team at Regional Farmers Markets present a very poorly maintained website and social media. The www.rfm.net.au website has been a shambles for years, worsening with COVID. Dates and details are very out of date. Information is often contradicted by Facebook pages they manage (Black Rock Farmers' Market).
It's time Peter, Claire, Melissa and co secured the services of professional web management and stick to what they do best.. managing markets.
Update
The Regional Farmers Markets (www.rfm.net.au) website has been updated to one page titled "New RFM Market Schedule". They may not realise that all inner pages (with outdated information) are still live and accessible as are the many Facebook pages. Below are the markets confirmed on the new schedule.
