Owned and managed by Justin and Rachel (who are avid dog lovers and the proud owners of rescue pups), 'Republik of Elwood' is a great social hub for locals to catch up with friends, enjoy a pint and spend some quality time with their pooch (dog snacks are on the house).
What sets 'Republik of Elwood' apart from other bars and pubs is their huge beer garden, which is perfect for fido to play or relax in!
The bar menu includes a wide range of delicious wines, ciders, bottled and tap beer, and all your favourite spirits and you can also order fabulous food at the bar from Lezzet Turkish Restaurant, Figo Italian, and the Curry Leaf for Indian (all located on the Brighton Road strip).
Open from noon till 11.30pm Monday to Saturday and noon till 11.00pm on Sunday, 'Republik of Elwood' is a great place to visit for a leisurely lunch or to chill out in the evening. Special events are held regularly, including popular quiz nights and live music.
