Reunion Park

Reunion Park

Reunion Park is a new pop up live music and performing arts precinct in the city of Yarra's iconic Burnley Circus site.

Reunion Park will provide a vital outdoor venue setting for artists and audiences to reunite and enjoy what Melbourne does best - Arts, Music & Culture.

The pop up will also feature a diverse range of performing arts shows including high flying circus performances, food and drink delights, and a programme of spectacular comedy shows as part of the venue's Melbourne Comedy Festival hub.

In lush green surrounds, the new 7500-person live music and performing arts precinct will play host to one-off gigs, festivals and sky-high circus performances. On the roster: King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Kiwi pop wonder Benee, and a whole lot more.
The past two years have been an uphill battle for the live-music industry nationwide. But in a big win for the local scene, Melbourne has a sprawling new pop-up gig venue - for a limited time only.

Called Reunion Park, it's taken over the lush green surrounds of the City of Yarra's Burnley Circus Site with one-off concerts, festivals and performing arts shows. There's room for 7500 punters across two towering tents.

It's by indie music and events company Untitled Group (also behind Beyond the Valley, Pitch Music & Arts, Wildlands, Grapevine Gathering, For the Love and Ability Fest) and Velodrome Events.

Kicking off Reunion Park's fleeting season is Aussie metalcore outfit Polaris on March 4. They're followed by psych-rockers King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard on March 5, the well-loved Spacey Jane on March 19 and Kiwi pop wonder Benee on March 25.

Meanwhile, Uncaged Festival will bring together Wolfmother, You Am I, Shihad and a whole lot more on March 12, and headlining Full Tilt Festival on March 26 is Northlane, In Heart Wake and Luca Brasi.

It's not all music, though. All manner of performing arts will be on show at Reunion Park. Also expect sky-high circus performances and a series of Melbourne International Comedy Festival shows, plus a solid food and drink offering.
