Rye Foreshore Market
The Rye Rotary Foreshore Market is a well known open-air 75 - 120 stall market with craft, plants, vegies and gift ideas for the whole family.
The Rye Foreshore market is classified as a 'Make Bake and Grow" market. We aim for 70% of stalls to sell homemade or home-grown goods.
We are very pleased to report that the Rye Foreshore Market reopened on the 7th March 2026 (at the carnival site - opposite Rye Hotel) after major development works by the Mornington Peninsula Shire around the Pier. And it was very exciting!
The Shire has built bigger and better car parking facilities near the pier and expanded the grassy area on neighbouring playground site.
The Rye Foreshore Market is one of the community fundraising activities for the Rotary Club of Rosebud-Rye.
It has been running for over 20 years, organised by Rotary volunteers and all income received from stall hire is used for community service projects.
LOCATION
Due to sand inundation at our old site across from the Rye Post Office, we have relocated to the carnival site ... across from the Rye Hotel and Rotary Rye clock on Point Nepean Rd.
MARKET OPERATING HOURS
The Market is open to the public from 8:30am every first Saturday of the month. Stall setup starts after 6:45am and must be complete by 8:30am. Stallholders are required to leave the site by 2pm.
