STREAT |
In Victoria, there are over 7000 12-24 year olds living on the streets each night. STREAT wants to these young people with a pathway off the street and into a secure job within the foodservice industry.
Our social enterprise is designed to offer disadvantaged youth a pathway from homelessness to long term employment.
We combine industry-level hospitality training with the opportunity of an ongoing role in our foodservice business.
Though based in Melbourne, the STREAT menu celebrates the distinct, nutritious tastes of world food created in the fresh, 'street hawker' style, and delivered from our spectacular mobile carts.
Most importantly, we reinvest all of our profit in the program and our clients.
That's why we're called STREAT: we provide street youth the opportunity to create and sell healthy, tasty food to eat.

The STREAT social enterprise organisation was founded in Melbourne in 2009.
