Spend your summertime learning about the invisible marvel that is air by exploring our returning exhibition Air Playground and the new Air-Palooza Amphitheatre show.

Air Playground
10AM TO 4:30PM DAILY | SPECIAL EXHIBITION GALLERY | INCLUDES MUSEUM ENTRY
Adults $25, Seniors $20, Child/Concession, Member $10
Play with air, the amazing invisible elemental force, and experience hands-on the science of aerodynamics. Whoosh, swirl, gust, squish, flow, float and more at Air Playground! Float objects in mid-air, place material in fast moving air-jets, squish a giant inflatable tentacled sculpture with your body, launch balls sky-high with compressed air and craft paper planes to soar and more.

Immerse yourself in the wonders of air at our free 20-minute live science show. Uncover the secrets of invisible forces, witness captivating levitation demonstrations, and explore the fascinating power of air pressure through engaging experiments. Our interactive experiments make the invisible forces of air come to life, leaving you in awe of the wonders that surround us.

The Glow Show

Watch a beautiful mural being painted in real time, ask your questions, and even complete your own colouring in sheet to make your own mini mural to take home!
Local artist Kelsie Cosmic invites you to step into the captivating world of "Electrifying Atmospheres" - a playful piece that transforms the outside of the Lightning Theatre into a dynamic realm of swirling lines, ethereal clouds, and electrifying bolts of lightning.

Collection Store Tours

Go on a behind-the-scenes tour of the Scienceworks Collection Store to see some of the 40,000 collection items stored at Scienceworks and listen to the stories of these rare and unique items.
